Roads from National Road 6A to Victory Boulevard Prepared for the 2023 SEA Games

Phnom Penh: Two sections of the road from National Road 6A to Victory Boulevard in Sangkat Bak Kheng and Sangkat Prek Ta Sek, Khan Chroy Changva in Phnom Penh are being prepared for the 2023 SEA Games. Capital’s Governor Khuong Sreng says they are planning to speed up the construction of these two roads. As he chairs the steering committee for the construction of the two roads, Sreng urged the technical sub-committee headed by the deputy governor and the sub-committee, Mean Chanyada, on impact management to implement this work.

Director of the Department of Public Works and Transport of Phnom Penh, Sam Piseth, has detailed that the two lanes from National Road 6A to Victory Boulevard in Sangkat Bak Kheng and Sangkat Prek Ta Sek, Khan Chroy Changva in each line are nearly 10 kilometres, 15 meters wide, built of reinforced concrete with two meters of sidewalks on each side. Cambodia has been moving towards hosting the Southeast Asian Games (SEA Games) in 2023. The kingdom is currently preparing both the sports infrastructure and the athletes, while a brand-new stadium - Morodok Techo National Stadium is showing off its high-class design.
